Can Artificial Intelligence really help us? That’s what the British government wants to know
We do not need much effort to find a lot of news involving projects with artificial intelligence and all forms of actions involving this type of technology. Thinking about it, the British government is calling several people to a debate involving this type of computer.
For this action, the House of Lords is inviting all experts in artificial intelligence to discuss issues related to this subject, such as ethics, economics and social effects of the use of these resources.
“The committee wants to use this debate to understand what opportunities exist for society, and the risks, in the development and use of artificial intelligence,” said Lord Clement-Jones, chairman of the artificial intelligence committee, in a statement.
The idea of this debate is also to understand how the government can act in that direction. Opinions will be accepted until September 6.
