Intel Core i9 to be released for hardcore users – in multiple versions

 In New devices, Personal computer

Intel has a variety of processors that somehow fit in this way: Core i3 for entry and intermediate computers, Core i5 for intermediaries and PCs that require a bit of performance and Core i7 for users looking for more robust performance, focused on games and heavier jobs. However, Intel decided to take things more seriously and will launch a new Intel Core i9, returning to hardcore consumers.

This new line Core i9, according to a new leak, will have several models. The top of the line, as you can see in the table below, will feature 18 cores – and will be the desired chip of the most avid gamers and users of heavy software, for example. The top-of-the-line Intel Core i9 called the Core i9-7980XE, still features a 165-Watt TPU.

Follow below the models and table details, obtained by Videocardz. Versions of i9 include:

  • Core i9-7960X
  • Core i9-7940X
  • Core i9-7920X
  • Core i9-7900X
  • Core i9-78820X
